About From globally acclaimed chef Ignacio Mattos, Altro Paradiso is an Italian restaurant in the heart of SoHo and an essential New York City dining destination. Menus Lunch Dinner Wine List Aperitivo Hour Events The dining room at Altro Paradiso boasts 18-foot ceilings, a striking brass bar, marble floors, and white-oak accents. A sunken dining room–three steps below ground level–features banquettes and a slender porthole into the kitchen. Outside, a blue-striped awning extends over the sidewalk to cover a dozen tables lined with white tablecloths for al fresco dining. Any or all of the dining spaces can be configured and combined for events of various sorts and sizes, from an after-work reception to a closing dinner, or a wedding.
