Description Characteristics Recommended Usage Packaging Data Sheets Description HydroPhase® C150 SL leveling underlayment’s shrinkage-free characteristics mean no mechanical surface prep allowing you to simply clean, prime, and pour. HydroPhase® is engineered to be applied as thin as 1/16”, and allows for the use of approved, locally available bulk sand for lifts greater than 1/4”, lowering costs while delivering superior performance. C150 SL is a concentrate that is mixed onsite. Approved for use over fully cured or existing concrete, wood, or other clean structurally sound properly primed substrates meeting L/360 deflection criteria. Compatible with most stone installation mortars, floor-covering adhesives, urethane adhesives, and epoxy adhesives Appropriate for use with most epoxy flooring installations, confirmed by on site mock up. Contact a sales rep before use in these applications Characteristics Engineered multi-component blended cement, containing polymer modified portland cement Fast setting, light trade traffic in 4 hours, normal traffic in 24 Phased hydration provides optimal use of available water at each stage of cure Recommended thickness 1/16” to 1 1/2” in a single pour Requires no surface prep: clean substrate, prime using approved primer and pour Ideal for smoothing out of level, old, or damaged concrete substrates Dense, smooth, abrasion and crack resistant surface HydroPhase® C150 SL displays a compressive strength of: higher than 2000psi after 24 hours higher than 4000psi psi after 7 days higher than 5000psi after 28 days and depending on sand quality can deliver greater than 6000 psi when fully cured Recommended Usage HydroPhase® C150 SL is recommended and approved for use over most properly primed substrates including: Institutional High rise residential Commercial Office Space Renovation of old structurally sound wood frame or concrete structure Retail Single-family homes Multifamily renovations 60 psi EPS board (contact HydroPhase® for install bulletin) After mixing, HydroPhase® C150 SL can be installed from 1/16” to 1 1/2” inches in a single lift.
