Specific finishes and design elements are chosen to reflect the style and needs of the homeowner such as a concealed morning bar, focal walls being finished in a striking stone and in one case a Phillip Jeffries horsehair wallcovering that offers “warmth, texture and sound absorption for the homeowners, who are physicians with varying sleep schedules,” according to Joel Kelly Designs.
