# The Expat Athens: Your Guide to Living in Greece

Our Story. The Expat is a neighborhood bistro with an Italian focus. Step into the charming 1930s cottage, located in the heart of Athens' Five Points neighborhood, and enjoy the best of what local growers have to offer. Owners Krista and Jerry Slater lead a staff that places emphasis on gracious service, delicious food, and outstanding beverages. Our Hours. We’re open from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Expat has a dedicated parking lot behind the restaurant. Reservations. Reservations for the patio are weather dependent and an indoor table is not guaranteed. All reservations are timed to allow our guests to comfortably enjoy their experience. There is a 2 hour allotted time for your table - we will attempt to accommodate late reservations, but we cannot guarantee your table will be held for late arrivals. Our Policies. A 3% fee will be added to your check. This goes directly to financially supporting our staff’s health insurance. Thank you for participating & being part of our community!
