Both times the service was on point. The food was also very good. Very dimly lit which was okay for me, but my mother hated it as she has impaired vision at the time. I had to guide her through the space at a very slow pace because she could not see very well. The first visit on Friday night was good, we had a table off from the main dining cluster. Sunday night we were seated next to a table of 4 who were very loud. Over both trips we had Pepper Steak, okay not my favorite dish. It was prepared well but a lot of bell peppers to where we left a portion of just peppers behind. Wonton Soup, no noodles extra mixed vegetables. Very good overall, I personally didn't care for the wontons. We boxed it up and the waiter kindly topped off the container with extra broth. Pepper Squid, very good especially with chili oil to dip (by request.) Duck fried rice, okay first off- I never order fried rice. It's far too simple to pay top dollar for. At $24 I was impressed. Simple fried rice with peas and carrots, lots of duck meat (skin included) for fatty goodness and a quarter dark meat duck placed on top for more duck decadence. As always, we ordered a dish of chili oil on the side. Added to the duck fried rice made it beyond delicious. I ate a 3rd and had the rest boxed up. Now, I will tell you it was as good the next day as the first. I still won't order fried rice anywhere but THIS... I am a changed woman. I loved every bite even if my Dr says I need to watch my diet. This one was worth it. My mom also ordered a Beef Chow Fun to go and she swears it is her favorite noodle dish here and she comes here a lot. I wanted this originally but I believe her if she says it is also good. Next time, but I will be internally conflicted over the Duck Fried Rice. Stop following Anna P. 7/27/2018 I was a little disappointed with this restaurant, we were the first customers to eat here on a Friday morning. However, at the end of my meal I found hair in my food. Hair is my food is my worst fear, since I found out towards the end of my experience therefore I didn't feel like the need to complain to them. Instead I wanted to just let my fellow yelpers know out there. I always get the Beef Chow Fun and the X.O. Shrimp fried rice. I wanted to try something new so I got the salt and pepper squid, I was surprise how good that tasted. I would recommend those three when you visit this restaurant, however I am giving them a 3 Star because I would like to advised them about hair in my food. Stop following Elaine L. 3/3/2018 For $17 I feel like my beef chow fun should have some flavor .. and there was a fly in my sisters Thai iced tea -- which by the wat was very watered down. Yes I understand if we're eating at a casino it's going to be overpriced, fine I understand. But if you're gonna make it over priced at least make sure the food is mediocre and edible. I'm an inexperienced cook and I'm sure I'm better than the chef there. 2 stars for a subpar viet coffee but word of advice: HEAT UP YOUR FOOD MORE so it doesn't seem like you just took the precooked beef out the fridge and threw it in the microwave. Stop following Adam S. 12/2/2017 The Bol is located right off the casino main entrance, and has about 30 or so tables. All of the tables are really close together, but is private and intimate. We've been here a number of times, but haven't been in about 6 months or so. Tonight we stopped in and got the fresh spring rolls and chicken pho and beef chow fun . We wanted to order wine as we have ordered each time for a number of years and the server told us they no longer serve wine but we could bring wine in from the casino. It was really disappointing they got rid of wine and was an inconvenience to say the least to have to go to the bar to order the wine and bring it back in the restaurant. As far as the food, we frequent a lot of Viatnamese restaurants so we have high standards. But for this restaurant I will say it is about fast food quality for Viatnamese and prices are high ($15 for pho), and $8-10 for appetizers. The pho is not very flavorful but is ok, but probably should be priced about $12 for the quality. The spring rolls were not wrapped tightly and were falling apart, for this I would probably say they should have been priced about $5 each. If anyone tells you this place is authentic, they have yet to try what authentic Oriental food tastes like. It's a place you can eat at if you have some cravings for oriental food. The beef chow fun was very oily, thick and the beef was chewy and dried. The salt and pepper squid was also too thick, over floured and undercooked. The shrimp fried rice was pretty bad. The shrimp had no taste, rice was dried but loaded with soy sauce, yet tasteless. My question is, who cooked the food?? And here you have people believing that this is authentic. Stop following Kevin D. 11/18/2014 I have been here about 20 times over the past few months and each time has been excellent. The food is fresh not too heavy and oily. Not sure about all the bad reviews on here.. I have been here when it's very busy and slow and so far for me they are consistent. My favorite is the beef chow fun , Singapore noodles and Chef Yip's chicken. From all the servers we had they were all polite and friendly. It's great they are open till 1am during the week.
