# Agent - LinkedIn

Agent 5 followers 1mo Edited Report this post Here's the pattern I see most with emerging scientific speakers, and it costs them real opportunities. They present their process when they should be presenting their point. And I completely understand why they do it! In research, rigor is the currency. You show your work. You defend your method. Reviewers and faculty want the receipts. But a conference audience, a grant panel, or an industry partner? They don't need the receipts up front. They need to understand why it matters to them, in this room, right now. The fix isn't dumbing it down. It's reordering the argument. Lead with the so-what. Build the case. Then give the how. This is one of the first things we work on with emerging speakers at Agent. Restructuring the narrative so the science lands before the methodology tries to justify it. It's a small shift with an impressive impact on how the work is received. If you're speaking this year and want your talk to actually move people, that conversation starts with learnwithagent.com . #ScienceCommunication #EmergingSpeakers 2 Like Comment Share
