# Investment Insights from Darwinian Ventures

Andrew Boos 3mo Report this post Doing my Sunday afternoon housekeeping I stumbled on one thing that feels worth pausing on: More than $250M of outside capital has now gone into companies across the Darwinian Ventures investment portfolio. with co-investors including General Catalyst , Kleiner Perkins and Y Combinator , 8VC and South Park Commons and many more, That number is admittedly a vanity metric, but it reflects something deeper: Great founders keep earning the right to dream bigger. We consider ourselves privileged to back companies early that have gone on to attract conviction from some of the best investors in the world. Often we are the first outside money invested into companies (Oway & Mega below and several others) A few examples: Nooks closing a Series B & scaling into a clear leader in AI sales development, with Dan Lee Oway becoming one of the most breakout companies in the portfolio after early backing, with Phillip Nadjafov Landbase raising a major Series A behind its vision for agentic GTM, with Daniel Saks Tie continuing to execute and win in identity and martech, with Michael Diesu MEGA.AI building important infrastructure at the intersection of voice and automation, with Peter Hauge Jensen We’re proud of the progress, but trying to hold it the right way. No victory laps. No pretending that paper markups are real (yet). Just gratitude for the founders, appreciation for the co-investors, and a lot of excitement about what comes next. The real work is still ahead. 38 4 Comments Like Comment Share Copy LinkedIn Facebook X CalifyAI 3mo Report this comment It’s true, the path to scaling needs careful navigation; relying on linear hiring can sink growth. Intelligent automation can detach growth from headcount, enabling smarter scaling. Like Reply 1 Reaction 2 Reactions Paul Jun 3mo Report this comment Congrats Andrew Boos !
