The post cap prevents water intrusion into the post cavity and eliminates sharp edges at the top of the post. Key details include Provides finished appearance at top of railing post; Prevents water intrusion into post cavity; AAMA 2604 powder-coated finish to match system; Press-fit design installed with rubber mallet. This component is an accessory within the Integrated Railing System. Structural performance testing was conducted on the complete railing assembly (Intertek Report P2566.01-119-19 R0, dated 11/16/22). The assembled system met 2021 IBC design load performance requirements. Refer to the structural component TDS documents for detailed test results.
