Superó ampliamente mis expectativas, Lucy es una hermosa persona, que surfea de toda la vida y también entiende que hay que explicar y transmitir lo importante del surf. Con mucha paciencia y dulzura te explica todo y te lleva al agua. El aliento, la confianza y sus palabras son siempre para que disfrutes el surf “aquí vienes a disfrutar, no a estresarte ni frustrarte”! Claro, el surf es para disfrutar! Lucy hace que conectes con el mar, con las olas, con lo que sientes. La realidad es que tome dos clases y con total honestidad me dijo “puedes tomar otra clase o vas tú sola para que veas cómo es” y realmente fue un gran gesto. Ella sabe la importancia de ver a cada alumno con sus posibilidades. Así que al tercer día rente tabla y ella fue couch (porque siempre te está viendo), así que sus consejos saliendo del agua sola también son de gran ayuda. Realmente una experiencia hermosa. Y claro, Dani y toda la familia de Lucy siempre están ahí para darte una palabra de aliento o consejo surfer. Pase una semana hermosa compartiendo con todos de la escuela y no tengo más que palabras de agradecimiento. Ya estoy pensando en regresar y volver a pasar mis días en el spot de Lucy! Madison Mosier 10 Octubre 2024 Absolutely incredible experience at Lucy surf school! My instructor Alex, was patient, funny, and worked with me through past fears and future goals. I ended up taking three lessons here, and each of them were more stellar than the last. After each wave, Alex offered words of encouragement, and advice on how to improve for the next. He is careful not to overload you with information, instead he progresses through teaching you the skills of standing up, paddling, turning, and generating speed just one moment before you are ready. I felt safe, confident, and ecstatic that I was able to catch so many waves. Of course, the waves in Carrizalillo are perfect for beginners, and in all of the surf lessons I’ve taken (Portugal, Basque Country, and now here) these were the least scary and offer beginners the greatest opportunity for success. Because Lucy’s surf school is on the beach, you don’t need to carry your surfboards down the steps, they are already there waiting for you! This family run business welcomed me from the very first day, with Lucy advising my technique even when she wasn’t my teacher. Thank you all for an stellar 5 star experience!
