There was a gentleman cleaning up but I think he worked for the city and was only picking up bigger trash. The Fishing here is TERRIBLE not sure why anyone comes out here consistently snagging pipes rocks and trash that people Toss over. Seriously though homeless people are ruining all the decent fishing spots Nice quiet spot off the beaten path it is also brackish water. I recommend using live bait. Neighborhood boatramp is on San Juan Avenue. This remnant of old state highway 15 was adopted by the nearby residents and is simply a quiet, excellent spot to cast a line near The Loop, Bookmine, Roosevelt Shopping center, is accessible from Lakeside Drive/Lakeshore Blvd, partially shaded by the Roosevelt Boulevard bridge overhead.
