# Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest County

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead Youth Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest County The mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest County is to inspire and enable all youth to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens by providing stimulating and challenging programs. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow - all while having fun. Our five core programs are: Character and Leadership Development Education and Career Development Health and Life Skills The Arts Sports, Fitness and Recreation BGCSWC offers bus transportation to over 55 different school sites throughout the year. We currently serve over 365 military and veteran families within our local communities. Every military child’s yearly membership is free. All of our programs are based on a youth development strategy that builds self-confidence and enhances self-esteem, while fostering a sense of belonging, competence and influence.
