No missing pieces. It came with "wood grain" stickers, but i think it looks better without them. It actually functions and shoots both darts and 1x5 technic liftarm pieces. Single-shot only, no magazine. It came with extra rubber bands, so i doubled the rubber bands on the firing mechanism. It fires at least 100 fps and is a bit dangerous! If building or gifting for a kid, i'd remove the extra rubber bands and only give them one of each color. Otherwise, this is pretty cool.
