# Cushman Trail

Skip to Main Content Home Departments Parks Parks & Open Spaces Cushman Trail Cushman Trail Features: 5 restrooms along trail 4 onsite parking locations pedestrian | bike trail nearly 6.2 miles with mixed grades 16-ft wide pervious pavement with 4-ft gravel shoulders seating along trail Cushman Trail Map This 6.2 mile regional trail was developed  in cooperation  with  Pierce County ​and Tacoma  Power Utility.  The  trail is paved and ranges from 12-16 feet in ​width. ​There are  trailheads  within the City at Borgen Boulevard, Hollycroft Street and ​Grandview Street. PenMet Parks has extended the trail south of the City Limits ​to​ 14th Avenue Northwest and maintains a trailhead with parking at this location. Borgen Trailhead Features: restrooms parking biking | walking path trailhead drinking fountain Located at 5280 Borgen  Blvd Grandview Trailhead Features: restrooms parking  biking | walking path trailhead picnic table and benches drinking fountain Located at 3908 Grandview Street Hollycroft Trailhead Features: restrooms street parking biking | walking path trailhead  picnic tables and benches drinking fountain and power Located at 2626 Hollycroft Street Cushman Trail Safety Update The City of Gig Harbor, in coordination with local emergency responders, PenMet Parks, and Tacoma Public Utilities, recently funded and installed Emergency Locator Signage on the full length of the Cushman Trail.   The new markers, located every half mile, correspond to GPS locations which will help first responders find users on the trail more quickly and efficiently.  If you experience an emergency on the trail, report your nearest locator position to emergency personnel.
