# Morgan Falls Overlook Park

Skip to main content Morgan Falls Overlook Park 400 Morgan Falls Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30350 Map Construction Update Restroom renovations at Morgan Falls Overlook Park will begin Monday, March 2. Portable restrooms will be available during construction, including an ADA-accessible option. Work is expected to last more than four weeks. For more information, contact recreation@sandyspringsga.gov . Opened in 2010, Morgan Falls Overlook Park was the first new park created in Sandy Springs after the City incorporated. The park offers stunning views of the Chattahoochee River, making it a great spot for picnics, rest, and relaxation. For a more active experience, enjoy a trek along the 2/3-mile hiking trail through the woods, take to the water on a SUP or kayak, or explore the Springway hardscape trail . The park's playground consistently receives outstanding reviews from parents and children alike. However you choose to spend your time, Overlook Park's serene atmosphere makes it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Additional features of this recreational area: Morgan Falls River Park Dog Park Springway Trail Fishing Area at the Dam Water Sports The park's floating dock offers public access to the Chattahoochee River upstream of Morgan Falls Dam. You can bring your own kayak, canoe, or paddleboard, or rent one from Murph's Surf Paddle Shack , located at the park. Pavilions Groups are welcome to use pavilions on a first-come, first-served basis. If a pavilion is not reserved, you are welcome to use it. However, if a group has reserved a pavilion in advance for an event such as a family reunion, it may not be used by others during the reserved time. A pavilion reservation is required for guaranteed use.
