More than 30 years ago, shortly after marrying my husband, I began my professional journey in the medical field, working as a Certified Medical Assistant for Dr. Young K. Lai, OBGYN. Over time, I became his office manager, overseeing billing, insurance, and daily operations to ensure the smooth running of the practice. When my husband completed college, we moved to Ventura, where I joined Buena Ventura Medical Clinic as an insurance processor specializing in third-party liens. During this period, I also began buying and selling income properties on a personal level — and quickly discovered just how much I loved every part of the process. That passion for real estate led us next to St. George, Utah, where we developed residential lots and built new homes. I also served as Secretary of the HOA for our community while working alongside my husband at a small mortgage company. From there, our path took us to Las Vegas, Nevada, where we became part-owners of our own mortgage company. Business was thriving — until the 2009 recession struck, hitting Las Vegas particularly hard. After those whirlwind years, we returned home to Ventura County — back to our friends, family, and the community we love so deeply. I’ve since been involved with the Camarillo Fiesta committee, the Camarillo High School Boosters, and Old Town Camarillo events such as the popular Wine and Beer Walks. Today, I’m proud to be part of an incredible real estate family at Realty ONE Group Summit , where I mentor new agents, collaborate with inspiring colleagues, and continue doing what I love most — helping others achieve their real estate dreams, right here in the place I love.
