Business expanding? Wanna find undiscovered talent?! Join us on Wednesday 12!!! I'm teaming up with Steve Taylor ( Alternative Payments ) and of course, HIREXE , to talk through how how MSPs are shifting from guessing to a structured, repeatable hiring process that produces better-fit candidates with faster results. What you’ll learn live: Cut time-to-hire — how structured filters and global sourcing reduce hiring from weeks to days. Reduce hiring mistakes — interview and vetting techniques that reveal long-term fit. Hire for more than tech skills — spot communication and follow-through traits that drive success. Build a repeatable hiring process — create a system that consistently finds the right people across roles. Onboard for retention — early-support tactics that strengthen results and reduce churn. How will you stand out?” The most common (and intellectually lazy) question I get about HIREXE ...Let's reframe Come with me on a cheeseburger journey!! Americans eat ~50 billion burgers per year That’s about 3 burgers per person, per week Roughly $170B+ in annual revenue 86,000+ burger restaurants businesses in the U.S. alone So yeah, “the burger space” is crowded Now look at Shake Shack: - Started as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in 2001. - Became a single permanent kiosk in 2004. - By 2010, it was doing $19.5M in revenue from just 7 Shacks. - By 2014, pre-IPO, it was at $118.5M with 63 Shacks. January 2015, it IPO’d: - 5M shares at $21 - Raised about $105M - Valued around $750M on day one Now, imagine if Gramercy Tavern Union Square Hospitality Group Leonard Green & Partners (LGP) Select Equity Group, L.P. would have told Danny Meyer , Randy Garutti (director of ops)and Mark Rosati (culinary director), the hot dog and cheeseburger space was too crowded? They would have been wrong - and it would have been a crime against humanity! Fast-forward to 2025: Shake Shack does around $1.3B in annual revenue Benchmark that against a roughly $173.6B U.S. burger market → you’re talking well under 1% share A sub-1% slice of one very crowded category turned into: - A billion-dollar brand - A public company - A product people will happily wait in line for And they did it selling cheeseburgers into a market with McDonald's , Burger King , The Wendy's Company , Five Guys Enterprises In-N-Out Burger , and tens of thousands of independents already there. The point? You don’t need to “own the category.” Some categories are so big, its not a winner take all market You need: 1 - A huge base market (like burgers… or hiring… or CRMs… or dev tools) 2 - A product that’s obviously better on 1-2 things customers actually care about 3 - The discipline to keep taking tiny slices of a gigantic pie for a long time In SaaS, that might mean: Getting to $10M, $50M, $100M+ ARR with single-digit % penetration While 10, 20, 50 other players are “in your space” So the next time someone asks me: "Your space is crowded. How will you stand out?” Get ready for a 5 minute rant about cheeseburgers! public_profile__posts 70 13 Comments Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Chris Keith Chris Keith 9mo Report this post Chris Keith shared this Uncharted dinner, >20 AI Execs, 2+ hour discussion 5 biggest takeaways: 1 - We’re still early And nobody agrees on where this goes. Even in a room full of builders, there was zero consensus on AI’s “end state.” That’s usually the tell that we’re in the very early innings. Michael Louis 2 - History is a humbling benchmark In the late 1800s, you could be born in a horse carriage and die having flown on a plane. We’re obsessing over LLM prompts, but the real change will be at the systems level over decades, not quarters. Matthew Fitzpatrick 3 - Work will get more complex, not disappear For the last 100 years, ~50% of the jobs people did in high school didn’t exist or looked totally different 10–20 years later. AI won’t eliminate work; it will reshuffle it into new roles that sit on top of more complexity. Michael Loeb 4 - WOW moments The wins in AI won’t come from mildly better “smart” products. They’ll come from simple products that create a real WOW moment and are easy to verify: “Did this actually help me do my job better, faster, cheaper?” Deborah Buresh Jackson The next generation of Advil vs multivitamin, only a lot more extreme w/ the use cases! 5 - Distribution beats product in the long run Models are making product moats evaporate, quickly... Just look at Google 's latest model... So, from TikTok live streams to LinkedIn content, the people who understand attention and distribution will out-execute those with “better” tech but no audience. What stood out most though? Simplicity Wins Make one workflow 10x easier and undeniably better for real people OpenAI + ChatGPT (AI had been around for years, ChatGPT was the most simple and digestible use case But the same example is going to win in the enterprise, not just in consumer facing businesses... Why we built it: Recruiters were losing >10 minutes per candidate Multiply that by hundreds of thousands of applicants It’s a tax on your business However Every conversation produced golden candidate + personality data And you NEED to host these screening calls Everyone we talk to who is adding headcount wants: Less: - static resumes More: - how do people think - how they communicate and sound - how they solve problems Which is why this is the perfect addition to our ReelCV A 360° view of who someone is With another clean, structured data stream to power it What our screening agent does: - Runs the full screening interview, 24/7 - Asks smart follow-ups (not just a fixed script) - Structures skills, experience, and personality traits automatically - Feeds that directly into our ReelCV-style profile so hiring managers get another rich, active datapoint—not just a static CV Net result: You get time back. You see people, not just resumes. And every interview makes the system smarter. If you want to see it in action, comment “screening” or DM me and I’ll send the Loom + early access. They resolve complex issues, originate loans, process claims, retain customers, and drive growth. Founded by Bret Taylor & Clay Bavor , Sierra topped $100M in ARR in just seven quarters and $200M in nine. Today, more than 40% of the Fortune 50, one in three of the world’s leading banks, and five of the world's ten largest healthcare organizations work with Sierra. And we’re still at the beginning. When I first arrived, I never could have predicted how much this club, city and its people would come to mean to me. Stepping back is much harder than I imagined. I fell in love with the history — from the Dreadnoughts against the 1908 Kangaroos, to Willie Hargreaves, Vic Yorke, Geoff Pryce and Graham Steadman. Those stories were shared by people I came to call friends, including some sadly no longer with us — Ray Hearld, Mike Smith and the beloved John Stabler. I hope they’re proud that the Knights and Wasps are reunited under York RLFC, with our past honoured through Heritage Numbers, the Memorial Wall and Hall of Fame. We broke the mould with the York Valkyrie — their own name, icon and identity. Multi-year contracts, maternity provisions and a programme that gave young girls something to aspire to. Back-to-back League Leaders and, most importantly, back-to-back Super League Champions. Then our beloved Knights. Four consecutive play-off campaigns. A first League Leaders’ Shield since 1980. And that rainy day at Wembley in 2025. After 157 years, York finally won at the national stadium. Becoming the youngest owner to win at Wembley is an incredible honour, but watching our players lift that trophy and celebrating in York are memories I’ll carry forever. Then came Super League. February 12, 2026. Our first game on the big stage. Sold out. The reigning treble winners and World Club Champions Hull KR against a York side with 7 Super League debutants. York won. The noise. The disbelief. A city celebrating together. They called it one of Super League’s greatest upsets. If you knew those men like I do, you wouldn’t have been surprised. There were difficult days too. They taught me more than any victory. To our players, coaches, staff, volunteers, sponsors, partners and supporters — thank you. None of this happens without you. I’ll cherish watching 15 players make their Super League debuts this year, living their dreams in front of those they love. For me, that is everything. The club is in safe hands. The Dickson family, Neil Gulliver, Mark Applegarth and our wonderful staff have my full support and faith for what comes next. I arrived with ambition. I leave with friendships and memories I wouldn’t trade for anything. York is home. No matter where I go, part of me will always remain within its walls. Job done. Onto the next. public_profile__reactions 398 51 Comments Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Chris Keith liked this Report this post Chris Keith liked this Chad Weinstein Chad Weinstein 1mo Chris Keith liked this Franchise values get the headlines. I got one of those rarer chances on the Tech Stage at Insurtech Insights NYC - short clip below. I spoke about the foundations of what I'm calling "scalable trust". Trust does not scale on promises. It scales on evidence. Every decision must be traceable. Every output defensible to a regulator, a reinsurer or a customer. That is the difference between a demo that impresses and a system an insurer can actually operate and scale. This is what I've passionately dedicated the last stretch of my working life to delivering. Getting to make the case for it properly to a large, meaningful audience is not something I will forget. Then, I walked off and Eoghan Scully from Anthropic walked on to talk about "Underwriting at Machine Speed with Claude". Speaking in the slot just before Anthropic was not something I saw coming this year. The two talks sat back to back, better than we could have planned. True Aim AG was also an official partner of the event which made it that much more meaningful. The stage was the smaller part of the trip though. The people I met over that week in NYC were incredible - thanks to you all: Charlie Wemyss , Rachel Springate , Tommaso DeNardo , Avi Mishan , Marom Mishan , Abhinav Mishra, MSRM , Philippe A. This past year came with a ton of professional growth: leading my own deals for the first time, understanding what it really means to be resourceful by helping dozens of portfolio companies with everything under the sun, building relationships with hundreds of incredible founders and VCs who I’m now lucky to call friends, learning how to pitch to LPs, and continuing to double down on our NYC & SF presence by bringing together some of the best people in the industry. Not everything about this year was perfect, but I feel lucky to be in an environment where I can learn from my mistakes and continue pushing forward. This is a full-circle moment for me. As a past patient and caregiver, I saw my family benefit immensely from their educational resources. They have led the research fight against tick-borne disease for many years, and this investment helps close the loop between those breakthroughs and the point of care. Together, we will put the latest science, education, and resources directly into the hands of patients as they make their most critical care decisions. This allows them to navigate their journey with confidence while driving the entire ecosystem toward a true standard of care. Roughly 10 years ago, our mom went from healthy to bedridden in a matter of months. She saw over 50 doctors at leading institutions only to be told “it’s all in your head, just do more yoga.” Sadly, I believed them, then it happened to me (& eventually my sister): sudden memory loss, brain fog, and anxiety that almost made me drop out of college. It took a chance encounter with a Lyme-literate provider at my high school graduation to get answers. We’re launching today to make sure the next family doesn’t need that kind of luck. Every year, an estimated 31 million Americans are bitten by ticks and more than half a million are diagnosed with Lyme+. For too many, reaching a diagnosis is just the start of the searching. Our family spent $300k out of pocket on trial-and-error treatments and many late nights on patient community forums desperately searching for our right next treatment or provider. We (specifically my brilliant sister, Payton ) built Ella to change that. Ella was modeled after the role our mom played for us during our journey: the researcher, advocate and coordinator of our care. She organizes records, symptoms, biometrics and treatments in one place, turns them into actionable insights, and helps patients see what might be helping or triggering flares, so no patient has to navigate this alone or uninformed. We spent 3 years speaking with Lyme+ patients, providers and researchers. Those conversations anchored a shared belief: no single doctor or textbook holds the answers to these diseases. The patients living it do. Every experience logged in LymeLess becomes part of an intelligence layer that informs the next patient, provider or researcher, in Lyme+ and beyond, unlocking insights that are currently hidden behind a $50k+ functional medicine journey that few can afford. No patient should have to wait years and spend a fortune for answers that should be in their hands the moment they need them. We’re starting with Lyme+, but millions navigating complex chronic conditions are stuck in the same struggle, and the intelligence layer we’re building is designed to meet them there too. None of this happens alone. Thank you to our advisors Ben Glicksberg (Mount Sinai), Shivani Stadvec (Clarium), Leona Gilbert (Te?ted), and Samrat Kulkarni (ERaaS Health, ex-CVS Health), who have challenged our thinking, opened doors, and pushed us to build something worthy of the community it serves. If you’re a patient, provider or researcher, I’d love to hear how these diseases show up in your world. We are live on iOS and Android and everything can be found at lymeless.com , whether you want to try Ella, follow along, or come build a safer standard of care for complex conditions with us. Finding one should be the finish line. For Lyme+ patients, it’s only the starting point. What follows is a maze. Every provider, test, and treatment is a bet of time, money, and hope, navigated alone. Sick. Exhausted. Working a full-time job no one applied for. That ends today. Introducing LymeLess, and Ella, your Lyme+ Health Companion. Built by patients. Powered by the intelligence of the Lyme+ community. Ella turns the day-to-day uncertainty of Lyme+ into a clear path forward. Track. Your entire story in one place, in minutes. Pill bottles, labs, biometrics. Learn. What’s working, what’s triggering flares, and how it ties into the latest research. Act. Your next move, made with your full story in view, so your time and money go where they actually help. At LymeLess, we believe that no single doctor or textbook holds all the answers. The patients living it do. Every story tracked joins the first real-world dataset built by the Lyme+ community, guiding the decisions patients face today and shaping the answers researchers uncover tomorrow. Every patient who joins makes the data stronger, the voice louder, and the path clearer for the one behind them. Until what once took years and tens of thousands of dollars is simply where the next patient starts. LymeLess is live today. Free to try on iOS and Android.
