## Card Management: Annotate, Tag, and Organize Cards

Cards are the building blocks of stacks. Whether they're links, notes, or markdown content, well-organized cards drive discovery and engagement.

### What Makes a Good Card?
Every card needs:
- A clear, human-readable title (not the raw URL)
- A one-line note explaining why it belongs in the stack
- Relevant tags that cluster with other cards in the stack
- An image (auto-extracted or custom)

### Annotating Your Cards
The one-line note is critical for AI discoverability. It tells readers and answer engines why this card matters. Examples:

- Bad: "https://example.com/coffee"
- Good: "Best specialty coffee roaster in Shibuya; single-origin beans, fair trade sourced"

### Tagging Cards
Use 2-5 tags per card that match the stack's vocabulary:
- Reuse tag names across cards so they cluster
- Be specific: "specialty-coffee" beats "coffee"
- Avoid single-use tags; aim for 3-8 shared tags per stack

### Adding Images to Cards
- If you add a URL, we auto-extract the page image
- You can upload a custom image
- Good images have clear subjects and decent contrast
- Missing images? Use the bulk enrich tool to fill them in

### Updating Cards
Click any card to edit:
- Title
- Notes
- URL/website
- Tags
- Image

### Organizing Multiple Cards
Group cards by theme within your stack. Put your best cards at the top. Use consistent naming and tagging across cards so they feel cohesive.

### Removing Cards
Delete cards you no longer want. Deleted cards are soft-deleted and recoverable from backups.
