Strengthening Families. One Hope United was founded over 100 years ago with the same vision we have today: a safe home for every child. By safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable children through community-based and in-home programs, we help assure the future prosperity of our communities. Child abuse prevention is one of the primary focus areas of the organization. One Hope United offers a number of counseling and intervention services designed to help keep families together and at the same time safeguard the well-being of children. Programs helping prepare new parents for the responsibilities of starting a family and youth mentoring and leadership programs are cornerstones of the organization's community-building work.
